When Ariel started The Confident Collab, she was fully managing social media accounts for wedding vendors. She had a website, but it wasn’t optimized and didn't even show a sliver of the bold, unapologetic personality Ariel embodies on social media. Besides, in the years since she first started her business and slapped together a website, she had majorly expanded her offerings.
Safe to say, it was time for a rebrand.
"Working with Joanna was exactly what my chaotic ADHD brain needed. As a chronic overthinker, writing my own website copy felt impossible. I'm talking, tried writing it myself 17 different times and then put it off for months... I had all these jumbled thoughts about my business, but zero clue how to turn them into website copy."
We dove deep into Ariel’s ideal clients, creative service providers (like coaches, brand and web designers, copywriters, photographers, artists, etc) who were tired of posting on social media and getting no results. We developed messaging that captured Ariel’s honest, sassy, yet thoughtful tone. We also hammered out all the details of her new offers, making sure that her readers could distinguish which service was right for them.
Her website copy focused on the problems her clients were facing: they were exhausted, overwhelmed, and almost ready to quit social media entirely. And then it introduced them to the solution, promising them that social media doesn’t need to be so hard. Backing up her claims with social proof and a solid process, her copy invites clients to experience what life could be like if social media didn’t consume their every waking moment.
Not to toot my own horn (except that this is a portfolio and that’s the whole point), I think we nailed it.
When I showed my husband the final draft, he literally said, "Wait, you didn't write this yourself?" She nailed my voice so perfectly that I'm genuinely excited to launch my website!! 10/10 recommend hiring Joanna. She's brilliant, kind, and so easy to work with!”
